eton - homebush
One of the club's most popular circuits, the Eton-Homebush course starts at the Walkerston clubhouse and follows the Peak Downs highway through short rolling hills that are sure to test the legs. After approaching the small township of Eton, riders turn onto the little-used Eton-Homebush Road which meanders through the region's cane fields. Riders turn left after the General Gordon pub onto Walkerston-Homebush Road and follow it north before turning left onto Stockroute Road and up to the finish line (which is usually placed atop a small hill). Approximate course distance 43km.
